Martin Homer Ewing was born 22 Jan 1891 in Wise County, Texas. He was the son of Gustavus Henry Ewing and Irene Samantha Williams. Martin died 29 Oct 1965 in Ryan, Jefferson County, Oklahoma, and was buried in Ryan, Jefferson County, Oklahoma. He married Ella Pirtle 21 Jul 1912 in Bowie, Montague County, Texas. She was born 20 Oct 1891. She was the daughter of Ambrose Pirtle and Sarah Morris. Ella died 22 Mar 1988 in Walters, Cotton County, Oklahoma. Both are buried in Ryan Cemetery.
